Stonefield Homes was founded in 1994 by Steve and Karen Stalker. Prior to moving to Greensboro and opening Stonefield Homes, Steve & Karen have 17 years experience as builders in Naples, FL. Karen manages the office, all of the day-to-day business activities, and all of our accounting and bookkeeping. Karen is co-owner (with daughter, Kris Skaar) of Stonefield’s realty division, and she helps with color selections for Stonefield’s speculative homes. The majority of Steve’s time is spent in land acquisition and neighborhood development. He also assists with plan selections and custom designs. Email Steve and Karen

Kris Skaar, daughter of Steve and Karen, is Broker-in-Charge and Principal of Stonefield Realty. She has a degree in Business and Fashion/Interior Design, as well as experience in the real estate industry. Kris handles all of our sales and marketing activities, maintains our company’s website, and works closely with our clients on color selections. Email Kris

Scott Stalker, son of Steve and Karen, is President of Field Operations. He is a registered professional engineer and has his builder’s license in North Carolina and Virginia. Scott performs all estimating, permitting, and contract duties, and he works closely with our clients throughout the pricing and custom design phases. Email Scott
